United Way Perth-Huron is supporting efforts to increase access to federal benefits administered through the tax system. United Way Centraide Canada has submitted a letter to endorse Prosper Canada, Maytree and Momentum’s joint submission to Finance Canada’s Consultation on Automatic Federal Benefits. This letter highlighted recommendations from UWCs involved in the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program, including United Way Perth-Huron. United Way Perth-Huron was gratified to be able to share the insights of experienced local volunteers to help develop those recommendations.
