Urgent Needs Fund for Individuals
Looking for help, please call 2-1-1. This fund is distributed through 2-1-1 and available to residents across Perth and Huron Counties.
The Urgent Needs Fund (powered by 211) is designed to support local residents in a time of crisis with funds for essentials such as rent, groceries, car repairs, medication and child care.
Dialing 2-1-1 puts you in touch with a trained 211 Navigator who will assess your needs and challenges and search for local supports and solutions. 211 is free, confidential and will connect you to the right information and services in Huron or Perth County. 2-1-1 is available 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week, 365-days-a-year in over 150 languages.
If the 211 Navigator determines the UNF would be the best fit to help, they will help begin the simple, non-judgmental application process to the UWPH-supported fund.
