Matt Johnson of Straight Forward Sales (SFS) in Stratford wants to give people a way of supporting essential service workers and frontline heroes while also giving back to their community.
On Monday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., or until signs run out, SFS will have a tent and banner at their location at 89 Lorne Avenue East — in the building with the large solar panel out front — selling yard signs showing Stratford’s support for those workers critical to the ongoing well-being of the community. All funds go to support United Way Perth-Huron’s COVID-19 Urgent Needs Fund. With every purchase, customers also receive a 100 mL bottle of hand sanitizer. Delivery of yard signs is also available; please call the SFS team at 519-489-0126. After Monday’s Victoria Day event, signs will still be available while supplies last at the SFS offices for a $10 donation.
