Introducing United Way Perth-Huron’s new Meat & Moolah 50/50 raffle, coming soon. This 14-week online event will offer people a chance to win a cash prize and a selection of incredible meats courtesy of meat producers from across Perth-Huron.

Draw 1: October 5 @ 10 a.m. | featuring a box of bacon courtesy of McIntosh Farms ($100 value)

Draw 2: October 19 @ 10 a.m. | featuring a “Pitmaster” box courtesy of Green’s Meat Market and Abattoir ($140 value)

Draw 3: November 2 @ 10 a.m. | featuring a specially curated box of meat courtesy of JC Cattle ($260 value)

Draw 4: November 16 @ 10 a.m. | featuring a premium beef family bundle and Wagyu ground beef bulk bundle combo courtesy of Van Osch Farms Premium Beef ($700 value)

Draw 5: November 30 @ Noon | featuring 50% of gross sales of tickets and a “Smoker” prize pack courtesy of 5 Chicks and a Farmer ($800 value for meat)

Sales start Thursday, September 10 @ 10 a.m. and end on Monday, November 30 @ 10 a.m.

Proceeds go to support United Way-supported programs and initiatives that aim to build a stronger Perth-Huron including improving access to services, housing stability, homelessness supports and urgent community needs. 

Rules

  • All tickets will be sold only to people who are 18 years of age or older.
  • Tickets will be sold online using the electronic lottery system supplied by Rafflebox.
  • The lottery dates will occur in the Province of Ontario.
  • After buying, patrons will be provided by the sellers, a receipt with their registered numbers from the electronic raffle system (Rafflebox). No specific numbers can be given as they are issued in sequence of order.
  • Eligible tickets purchased before each Early Bird draw deadline will be entered into that draw. Each Early Bird winner will remain eligible for all subsequent Early Bird draws and the Grand Prize draw.
  • Early bird prizes will be funded through donated prizes and will not reduce the 50% jackpot payable to the grand prize winner.
  • The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all lottery numbers sold for the draw.
  • The draw will be done at Physical Location of the Draw, 32 Erie Street, Stratford , Ontario, N5A2M4 and the winning number will be updated on the lottery landing page and on United Way Perth-Huron Website/Social Media.
  • Winners may claim their prize by contacting United Way Perth-Huron at 519 271 7730. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. The winner of the cash prize will be paid by cheque or etransfer. Winners of donated prizes must be able to pick them up from a UWPH location in Perth or Huron county.
  • The winning ticket holders have six months to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for.
  • The winner(s) must provide their name, address, and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.
  • Once each certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque or etransfer in the amount of the declared prize as outlined in the table above. If a selected winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
  • In the event that a winner does not come forward, their winning number will be kept on file in a secure location and held for six months. After that time period has elapsed, the prize will be donated to Host Organization, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
  • The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws:
    • Residents outside of Ontario
    • Anyone under the age of 18
    • United Way Perth-Huron board members and staff
