Paint the Town Red
A charity promotional event for merchants and shoppers. Returning for a 4th year, Paint the Town Red engages businesses in Perth and Huron Counties by providing an opportunity to collectively raise money. Funds are raised in a way that is fun and unique to each store, product or service.
This February 13-16th Valentine’s weekend shop local , promote participating businesses and highlight those that give back.
New for 2020, announcing our sponsor Scotiabank® who has committed to match donated dollars up to $15,000 for the event.

Promotion on local radio stations, newspapers and online to help direct shoppers to participating businesses will be arranged by United Way Perth-Huron.

3 – PARTICIPATE
February 13th to 16th! Brainstorm with your staff and be creative!
Some suggestions:
- $2 per red drink or spicy sandwich sold
- $3 per socks
- 15 per cent of all red items sold
- 10 per cent of net sales for four days
- $5 per red manicure or pedicure
- $10 per personal training appointment booked
4 – SUBMIT DONATIONS
Drop off your donation at the nearest Scotiabank branch by February 28th.
