2025 Summer Music Barge

Stratford Summer Music and United Way Are United For Good

Stratford Summer Music’s MusicBarge is returning this year to bring outdoor music to Stratford and support United Way Perth-Huron.

As part of the weekly outdoor music program, Stratford Summer Music will once again accept donations at performances. Fifty percent of donations collected (up to $5,000) will go directly to United Way Perth-Huron. This partnership highlights how local organizations can work together to support important programs and services across Perth-Huron.

“We appreciate Stratford Summer Music once again choosing to donate half of proceeds from their MusicBarge program to United Way’s annual campaign,” said Ryan Erb, Executive Director of United Way Perth-Huron. “This is a great example of two organizations coming together to benefit the community. We’re grateful for Stratford Summer Music’s support of our mission to build a brighter tomorrow for vulnerable local people.”

“At Stratford Summer Music, we are thrilled to partner with United Way Perth-Huron to amplify community impact through our MusicBarge events,” said Crystal Spicer, Executive Director of Stratford Summer Music. “Together, we are combining the power of music with charitable giving to help build a stronger, more vibrant community.”

The MusicBarge is located adjacent to The Boathouse at 30 York Street, along the Avon River in Stratford. It serves as Stratford Summer Music’s floating stage and hosts many free outdoor concerts. Paid and accessible parking is available at the York Street parking lot. Public washrooms are available at The Boathouse. There are paved, wheelchair-accessible paths along the river.
