Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookies offered a new way to spread kindness during the holiday season and now, United Way is celebrating a donation of $7,845 to the Urgent Needs Fund.
“We’d like to thank Dan Moynihan and his staff in Blyth, Clinton and Seaforth, the volunteers who helped us decorate Holiday Smile Cookies and the people who bought them,” said Michelle Millar, manager community development in Goderich and area and Southern Huron. “This incredible collective effort is making a real difference in the lives of people right here in Huron. Thank you again to everyone for their support.”
“The United Way and their team of volunteers were exceptional partners in our delicious Holiday Cookie Campaign,” said Dan Moynihan, owner of the Tim Hortons in Blyth, Clinton and Seaforth. “Their efforts allowed us to support two great charities, the United Way’s Urgent Need Fund and Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. Thank you also to the entire Huron County community for your generous support!”
In total, the Tim Hortons in Blyth, Clinton and Seaforth sold approximately 9,300 cookies, with a fundraising total of $15,691 split 50/50 between the Urgent Needs Fund and Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.
