Paint the Town Red - United Way Inaugural Event raises $8,000!

From November 25th – 27th participating merchants across Perth and Huron participated in Paint the Town Red, and inaugural event supporting United Way Perth-Huron.   Close to 40 merchants took part featuring a product, service or a creative idea with a portion of their sales going to the local United Way campaign. The community was able to shop local while supporting the tremendous work that United Way does.

“The response from merchants and the community was fantastic”, shared Carolynne Champagne, United Way’s VP Resource Development & Communications. “The event raised $8,000, which surpassed the goal of the event by $3,000. It really turned into a community celebration of our local businesses and our community members.”
