We are pleased with the activity so far and expect it to pick up now that people have had a bit of a break.”

Ryan Erb, Executive Director of the United Way who is administrating the project says. “We are pleased to be a part of this important effort to get people back to work as soon as possible. Long have the employees at Kraft-Heinz been supporters of our work. Now it is our turn to support them.”

Mayor Strathdee is pleased that everyone is rallying. “It’s tough when a plant closes. It affects everyone, but I’m so glad to see our community doing what it always does – come together and support each other. It’s moments like these, although hard, that make me proud of being the Mayor of St. Marys.”
